Chia – The Latest Superfood Craze That Isn’t A Fad

It seemsthat every other week we’re being told about the latest must-have supplement or vitamin we need in our diets, but our latest superfood discovery really does live up to all the hype.

Introducing Chia – a tiny seed first discovered by the ancient Aztecs, which is jammed packed full of goodness that not only delivers an abundance of health benefits, it also helps to keep your feeling fuller for longer, so is the perfect companion to any meal if you’re trying to lose weight.

So, what is Chia and how do you use it? Traditionally known as Salvia Hispanica, Chia seeds come from the Chia plant and can be black, purple or white in colour. The seeds which are high in Omega 3, Fibre, Protein and anti-oxidants, are also virtually tasteless so can be added to almost everything.
