Some of our favourite celebs just can’t help themselves – not content with being in the limelight and the subject of tabloid fodder, many take to Twitter to post pointless photos of themselves in varying degrees of boring and inappropriate situations.
We’re all guilty of self-snapping on our iPhones to see if an outfit looks good or if a certain lipstick gives us a suitable pout but the difference between us normal folk and celebs is that we know that other people, specifically our Twitter followers aren’t interested and don’t want to see our snaps. Granted, celebrities are slightly more interesting but there comes a point when you just think ‘give it a rest will you?’.
From posing in lingerie while clearly sucking in their stomachs to snapping the most unappetising sheppard’s pie we’ve ever seen, the range of inane images online is startling and the over-sharing needs to stop.
And yes, we admit that we secretly love having a bit of a snoop from time to time but it’s reached the point that A-listers and Z-listers alike need to step away from their smart phones, realise that the world and its mother doesn’t need to see them in all their grainy-photo glory and at least try and retain some mystery and allure.
