While some farmers are finding it tough, tomato farmers are loving life right now as plant is absolutely booming.
However, it’s not the regular ‘ol plum tomatoes that are making it onto social media… according to the Independent UK, it’s anything that’s black, dark red or purple that tomato farmers are absolutely loving.
Black tomatoes are so on trend right now that some London restaurants are even charging around £8.50 for a ‘heritage tomato’ starter. Standard.
