This video is about to make you feel instantly relieved for the future of children. ‘Cause they seem to have it pretty much figured out.
Designer Nickolay Lamm created a ‘normal’ Barbie, calling her Lammily and basing her design on the proportions of an average 19-year old.

The Lammily store even offers new additions to the doll, known as ‘Lammily Marks’ – stickers that can be added to the dolls to showcase stretch marks, freckles, acne, stitches, scars and more.

As if we didn’t love the broader beauty ideals being acknowledged by a toy company, they then decided to share their new doll with a group of schoolchildren.
While examining the dolls, the children’s responses included how much they liked it, and our personal favourite:
“I really like her. She looks like my sister!”
This is a really sweet clip!
