What do you get when you add a collection of cuddly teddy bears, 400 school children and a team of student doctors?
It’s official, our hearts melted when we spied these snaps from the Teddy Bear Hospital event, hosted by medical students at the University of Limerick. The caring bunch invited local primary school children to stop by the Teddy Bear Hospital to help take the fear out of visiting hospitals and doctors.

Over 400 primary school children got to take their teddy’s vital signs, test their bear’s temperature or listen to their heart. Other tasks the kids undertook were x-raying their furry friends and attending the ‘Pharmacy’ where they were prescribed fruit for their patients.
Talk about pulling at our heart strings. We’re off to dig out our old trusty friends.
