There have been rumours about just about everyone in relation to the new Star Wars film but this is certainly a new name in the mix. Rumour has it that none other than Tom Cruise will make a cameo appearance in the Star Wars Episode VII.
According to reports, Tom and JJ Abrams are pretty good friends, particularly after working together on Mission Impossible so it’s not that strange that Cruise would be involved in some way.
A source told the Sun: ‘Tom has been in London for over a week and met up with JJ and some other people from Star Wars over the weekend.
“JJ produced M:I5 and loves working with Tom whenever he gets the chance. Losing Harrison is going to set things back a little scheduling wise and there’s some time to play around with.”
Last week, Harrison Ford was rushed to hospital with a leg injury which later turned out to be quite a serious break.
Looks like JJ might be only too happy to have some star power on the next film.
