One of Albert Square’s most memorable characters is returning!
According to The Mirror, when Robbie Jackson (Dean Gaffney) returns to EastEnders later this month he will be joined by Wellard.
Of course, it will actually be Wellard 2 as his original pooch sadly passed away back in 2008.

Speaking about the decision to give his character a companion, Dean said: “Robbie and Wellard were inseparable.
“So it seems only right that there will be a Wellard 2. I think viewers are going to love him!”
