EastEnders executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins has revealed that he has big plans for the residents of Albert Square this summer.
The show boss insisted that the plot surrounding Lucy Beale’s murder isn’t the only one worth tuning in for over the coming months.
“This is a massive story for us, but it’s not our only story at the moment. We’re not closing for the summer!” he told Digital Spy. “Every single family in EastEnders is going to have their chance to shine”.
“We have a huge story coming up for the Carters, Shirley, Phil and Sharon, massive stuff for Carol and David – and for most of the cast. Rudolph Walker, who plays Patrick Trueman, is getting a very big story as well”.
