It goes without saying that anyone who has seen The Grand Budapest Hotel knows Wes Anderson has his own quirky style. Not a style you’d associate with the Oscar winning classic Forest Gump… until now.
Filmmaker Louis Paquet recreated the 90s movie directed by Robert Zemeckis, only this time he took some inspiration from Anderson’s storytelling techniques.
OK, so we only get a sample of the opening credits, which combine Anderson’s quirkiness with some of the key moments of Gump’s life in the film, but it does give a great taste of what a full-feature could have been like.
Although we’ll always be a fan of the original, we wouldn’t mind seeing this remake happen.
