They thought it was “cringe”.
EastEnders viewers were left feeling very uncomfortable after one scene from last night’s show. Newlyweds Whitney and Lee, played by Danny-Boy Hatchard and Shona McGarty, have caused quite a stir after having sex, or trying to, on the show.
While a lot of the upset was caused by it being shown before the watershed, it was also the way in which it played out and how awkward it was that has caused most people to cringe.
Whitney and Lee were in bed about to have sex when Lee stops abruptly. Whitney then tries to comfort him by saying, “Don’t worry it happens to loads of men.”

Her comforting him doesn’t seem to go down too well with Lee or the viewers who had a lot to say about it.
