When we discovered J.J. Abrams was going to be back with the second instalment for the new Star Trek film series, the world breathed a collective sigh of relief. Firstly due to the fact that the first film was amazing, secondly because he was possibly the only director who would be able to create that affect again.
Then we heard that British actor Benedict Cumberbatch was going to play the evil villain in the follow-up which is possibly one of the greatest decisions ever made by Hollywood.
