Ryan Reynolds is one of those actors that we just continue to hope will have a massive career turnaround, much like Matthew McConaughey. Reynolds has impeccable comic timing but has certainly chosen a few questionable roles over the last few years. We’ll stay true.
However, his latest project, The Captive, was famously booed at Cannes forcing Ryan to practically flee the scene and not turn up to the after party.
The film follows the aftermath of a child disappearance and the effect this has on the parents. The film stars Ryan, Rosario Dawson and Scott Speedman.
