It has been four years since Wolverine last graced our screens in a feature-length film and this was the disappointing X-Men Origins: Wolverine. However, the franchise seemed to have upped the ante and the latest trailer for the new film looks pretty astonishing.
Originally, Darren Aronofsky was signed on for the project, but James Mangold, he of Walk the Line fame, has taken over the reins.
This film follows Logan as he makes a trip to Japan and encounters an old enemy who will have a direct impact on his future.
The Wolverine will be released here in July.
