Many are convinced that claims earlier this week that James Franco attempted to lure a 17-year-old girl to a hotel were part of an elaborate PR stunt for new movie Palo Alto and yesterday, the red band trailer for the film surfaced online.
The Gia Coppola film is based on Franco’s book of short stories and tells the story of a group of high school students in California, with Franco appearing as a soccer coach who seduces one of his teen players (Emma Roberts).
The film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and hits screens in the US in May. A release date is yet to be set for the UK and Ireland.
