Based on the book of the same name by Max Brooks, World War Z is the latest in a long line of apocalyptic horror films with zombies. However, unlike some terrible films we have seen over the years, this particular take has got us pretty excited!
Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B won out the bidding for the movie adaptation from the book, which Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way also sought to buy up. Pitt also takes the leading role as Gerry Lane, a UN employee who goes around the world interviewing survivors of the zombie attacks.
World War Z will be released in Ireland this June.
