Could a movie be in the works?
The rumour mill has gone into overdrive this week that a Game of Thrones movie may well be on the way to the big screen.
According to The Daily Star, author George R.R. Martin stated that a film is a possibility.
“There will be a movie but I will not be involved,” he reportedly told the publication after this year’s Emmy Awards.
“I have too much to do. That is something HBO and D.B. and David [Benioff] are dealing with.
“I have two more books to finish and I still have so much to do. The pressure is on.”
However, he has since denied the report, writing “no one is working on any movie just now” in a recent blog post.
Hmm… The plot thickens.
