We can’t wait to see this!
There’s been much speculation the last number of months that Simon Cowell was going to shake up the format of the X Factor and now it has been revealed that that’s exactly what he has done.

Simon has changed the format of the show.
According to reports, the audition stages will now be much more interactive and for the first time ever, viewers will have the power to decide which judge will be mentoring which category.

The vote will use emojis and hashtags.
Meanwhile, the auditions will no longer be held in a room but instead, hopefuls will perform on stage in front of the judges and an audience.
“There’s a different energy this year,” Simon said.

Caroline Flack and Olly Murs will present the show.
“I can’t explain it. I have felt relaxed and I think getting out of those small rooms made a big difference: I don’t like those little auditions, they drive me nuts.
“The crowd have had an incredible energy this year which has helped.”

Cheryl and Simon will be joined by new judges Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw.
Successful contestants will then move on to Boot Camp as normal and we can’t wait for it to kick off this weekend!
