There’s More Good News For Netflix Fans…

...and fans of Jamie Dornan!

Netflix have announced that they will premiere Jamie Dornan’s new film Jadotville when it is released in 2016.

The streaming site has revealed that they earned the advance rights to the movie at the 2015 Berlin Film Festival.

Production for the film kicks off in April and will see Dornan starring alongside Guillaume Canet in a gripping story about the 1961 siege of an Irish UN battalion.

Dornan will play Commander Patrick Quinlan and the movie will be directed by Richie Smyth and written by Kevin Brodbin.

The movie will be filmed between locations in Ireland and South Africa.

“This film will be an amazing addition to our global original films initiative,” said Ted Sarandos Netflix Chief Content Officer.

“As filmmakers, we are constantly looking for new ways to bring a movie to the largest possible audience,” said Alan Moloney of Parallel Films’.
