Prepare for a complicated love triangle, with news that market boss Aleks Shirovs will decide to propose to girlfriend Roxy Mitchell in an upcoming storyline.
While the couple seem to be loved up, Aleks is still in the dark about his girlfriend cheating on him.
Roxy, who recently slept with brother-in-law Charlie Cotton, starts to feel torn after the proposal, doubting her relationship with Aleks.
Roxy is still struggling with the guilt of sleeping with brother-in-law Charlie after they both struggled with Ronnie’s coma following a car crash on New Year’s Day.
Despite Ronnie’s condition since improving after being taken off a ventilator, it seems she won’t be taking it easy after appearing to overhear Charlie and Roxy discuss their indiscretion at her hospital bedside.
Series producer Sharon Batten revealed Roxy will face some tough decisions in the coming weeks, when she’ll have to decide if Aleks is who she really wants.
Speaking to ITV, Batten said:
“I can exclusively reveal that Aleks will buy a ring for Roxy, but with Charlie never that far away, what will Roxy do?”
