It has been strongly rumoured that Louis Walsh and Mel B will not be returning for the new season of The X Factor and it seems someone will be flying from the US to take one of their spots.
It is being reported this evening that Demi Lovato is being lined up by Simon Cowell to join the panel of the beleaguered talent show, having impressed during her time on The X Factor USA.
“Simon [Cowell’s] management phoned to see when Demi could sign her contract about a week ago. They both have busy schedules but she is planning to do it as soon as possible and Simon is eager to get the judging panel sorted,” a source told The Daily Mirror.
The Skyscraper singer already has a few friends on set, having recently released hit single Up with new host Olly Murs.
Murs and Caroline Flack will take over from old favourite Dermot O’Leary, following his exit from the show last month.
