Earlier this week the judging line-up was confirmed and now it has been revealed that there will be more changes to this year’s series of X Factor.
As well as abandoning in-room auditions, it is being reported that there will only be seven weeks of the live shows (as opposed to 10) and arena try-outs will only be held in London and Manchester.

The Sun newspaper claims that the changes will allow new judge Rita Ora to commit to the show and continue with her own recording schedule.
Speaking of the pop star, she has allegedly denied that she joined the panel because of the money involved (she apparently signed on the dotted line for £1 million).

Rita has shot down claims that she moved shows for money.
A source close to Rita told the Daily Mirror: “Rita is adamant she is not moving for money. She is angry and insistent that she started as a guest judge on The X Factor and is going home.”
They added: “But if it was all just about money she wouldn’t be on the show and would be going around the world making millions from endorsements and more live performances.”
