It was a fantastic weekend all round on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend with a brilliant Halloween-themed show delighting viewers on Saturday evening.
Alas, despite all the glitz and glamour, somebody had to say goodbye to the dance floor and this week, TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher became the fifth contestant – and the first female star – to be eliminated.
Kirsty lost out in a dance-off against Jamelia and Tristan MacManus and despite performing what we thought was a pretty fabulous version of the Charleston, they were outmanoeuvred by Jamelia’s jive to The Time Warp.
“I did my best but it was time to go,” Gallacher said afterwards.
“My Strictly highlight was the Viennese waltz, it was a wonderful week and it went really well.”
