The Late Late Show will feature some heavy topics this Friday

Should be interesting.

Some heavy topics included in this Friday’s Late Late.

There will be a panel discussion on The Late Late Show this Friday with restaurateur Richard Corrigan, satirist Oliver Callan and journalist Dearbhail McDonald talking about the state of the nation and why the country is in desperate need of a stable Government now.

Also on the show will be two of the survivors of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster 30 years ago, Raisa Carolan and Anna Gabriel. They will tell Ryan about their journey to Ireland after the incident and how they have made a life for themselves. Also featuring on this topic will be campaigners Adi Roche and Ali Hewson.

Broadcasting legend Mike Murphy will be chatting to Ryan about life after television and will be joined by historian Catriona Crowe for the launch of Epic Ireland, a brand new multi-million euro visitor experience centre in Dublin City centre.

Harnaam Kaur, a body positivity campaigner, will be on the show to talk about how she beat the bullies by embracing her facial hair that has been a feature of her life as a result of polycystic ovary syndrome since she was 11-years-old.

The Today Show host Maura Derrane will have her first visit to Late Late since becoming a new mum in her early 40s and Cork singer-songwriter John Spillane will perform his much-loved song The Dance of the Cherry Trees before joining Ryan on the Late Late couch for a chat.

All that and music from Camille O’Sullivan and country music star Lisa McHugh.
