Certainly one of the most terrifying horror films from this year and arguably one of the most frightening horror films ever, The Conjuring, has been signed up for not only a sequel, but also a spinoff.
Warner Brothers and New Line cinema have confirmed that they will be putting two films into production as a result of the Conjuring, The Conjuring 2 and what will definitely be more terrifying, Annabelle.
If you have seen the first instalment, you will be aware that Annabelle was the petrifying doll we were introduced to at the start and who made another stunning appearance further into the film.
Needless to say, Annabelle always deserved her own spinoff and will no doubt do really well on release. Filming is due to begin in early 2014.
The Conjuring 2 on the other hand will feature demons and levitating sisters, according to bloody-disgusting.com. The film will follow the Warrens as they encounter two sisters in England who are believed to be possessed, also based on a true story.
James Wan will not be attached to the project however as he is currently filming The Fast and Furious 7. The film will no doubt suffer from his loss.
