Music mogul Simon Cowell has revealed that this year is a ‘make or break’ year for The X Factor.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, Cowell admitted that he hopes this year’s show will be a big success.
“It does feel like make or break this year, but I feel every year is make or break to be honest,” he stated.
“There were certain years when certain people won and it was like, ‘Oh Christ’.”
Hmm… we wonder who he’s talking about there?!
“Last year’s show made me realise there’s still a lot of talent to be discovered,” he continued.

“You never forget those days when you feel a star is being born.”
There will be a number of changes on this year’s show, with Caroline Flack and Olly Murs taking over presenting duties from Dermot O’Leary.

Dermot O’Leary will not be presenting the show.
Meanwhile, Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw have been added to the judging panel in place of Louis Walsh and Mel B.
