Spoiler alert Corrie fans, the show’s bad boy Jim McDonald is returning to the popular soap.
Played by Charlie Lawson, it’s expected that the character will be making his comeback on Coronation Street later this year.
Digital Spy reports that Lawson’s character is to be reintroduced for an initial three-month period and it’s thought that his storyline will focus on life behind bars.
Jim was last seen on the soap back in 2011 when he was sentenced to seven years after attempting to rob a Building Society so that on-screen wife Liz could buy the Rovers Return.
McDonald was a regular in Corrie for 11 years between 1989 and 2000.
