Some Very Interesting Guests Announced For The Late Late Show Line-Up

It’s going to be a lively Friday evening on RTÉ with The Late Late Show hosting a debate about the upcoming 1916 commemorations and celebrations.

Included on the panel for the discussion will be broadcaster Ivan Yates, artist Robert Ballagh, writer Martin Devlin and none other than Blindboy Boatclub from The Rubberbandits.

Limerick Legendary duo The Rubber Bandits, they're likely to opt for a shopping carrier bag.

Also on the show will be author and screenwriter of ‘Room‘, Emma Donoghue to talk about the reaction to the movie and the possible Oscar nomination.

Also joining Ryan will be Sinéad Burke, aka Minnie Melange, to chat about life at 3 foot 5 inches in modern Ireland.

Professor Fergal Malone, the new master of the Rotunda, will chat to Ryan about the challenges facing the Irish health service and whether the system is failing women, from those whose cancers are missed as a result of treatment delays to those who must travel abroad if they want to terminate their pregnancies.

Actor and columnist Michael Harding will be also be joining Ryan to share his musings on the New Year.

The performances on the night will be from Dublin duo Morrissey and Marshall, Tommy Fleming and also a celebration of the anniversary of Elvis Presley’s birth with one of the world’s best impersonator, Ben Portsmouth.

The Late Late Show is back this Friday at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
