Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien has spoken out about the drama that’s in store for her character Sarah Platt.
Next week will see her romance with bad boy Callum Logan exposed and let’s just say her brother David isn’t too happy about it. (That’s because him and Callum are fighting over custody of Max.)
The actress told Digital Spy: “Sarah’s really gutted because she wanted to do the right thing and tell David in her own time and do it the right way. She’s messed it up and she knows she’s gone about it in all the wrong way.”
Sarah and Callum’s fling is going to be exposed.
Tina continued: “She does try to explain but he’s so gutted that she’s seeing Callum. I think he sees it as a betrayal – out of all the people she could go out with, why did it have to be him?
“She feels really guilty. She does feel bad, she knows she’s messed up – but having said that she will still keep seeing Callum!”
The 31-year-old, who only recently returned to the cobbles to reprise her role, added: “She’s really torn. I don’t think Sarah actually harbours bad feelings towards her brother anymore so it’s difficult… Her head has just been turned by Callum.”
She came back to the cobbles because of her teenage daughter Bethany.
