Lights, camera, fashion. Carrie and Big may have broken up during the SATC movie, but let’s be honest, we were all more interested in her shoes. We also know that mean girls wear pink on Wednesdays and that the reason Clueless is a classic lies in Cher’s iconic wardrobe.
5. The couple who start out hating eachother…
Before falling madly and deeply in love. Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy, Bridget and Mr. Darcy, we can’t get enough of a relationship that goes from ice cold to steamy hot in a couple of short hours.
6. The hilarious sidekick
Behind every lead character in our favourite chick flicks is an always-entertaining BFF. There by their side during the good times and bad, these characters sometimes steal the show. And for good reason.
7. The happy ending
The kisses, the weddings, the babies. A chick flick just isn’t a chick flick without a happy ending. An ending so happy that you’re left smiling throughout the end credits.
