Christmas is just a few days away now and we know that even though the little kids are pretty excited, they will probably be a little bored within a few days.Worry not! We are here to help with your movie scheduling over the Christmas period. Here are nine kid’s essentials.
1. Home Alone
This is a pretty standard movie inclusion at this stage, but who wouldn’t want to see this cutie get stuck Home Alone with two burglars every year?
2. Elf.
Santa! SANTA’S COMING! I KNOW HIM! Endlessly quotable and just plain genius.
3. Miracle on 34th Street
A little girl discovers dreams really come true if you believe! There are two versions of this one, both equally adorable.

4. The Muppet Christmas Carol
This is the Muppets version of the old tale of Scrooge, and what an amazing version this is. To be honest, pretty much any Muppets film is acceptable at this time of year!

5. The Polar Express
Ever doubt Santa Claus? Well, you won’t after the Polar Express. Tom Hanks plus animated Christmas? Sorted.
6. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Although it’s not really a Christmas film as such, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a very important part of the Christmas process. Not the Tim Burton one, Gene Wilder all the way.
