EastEnders star Ricky Norwood is waving goodbye to Albert Square.
The actor, who has played Arthur ‘Fatboy’ Chubb for almost six years, will leave the show when his current contract expires.
Show bosses have decided to write him out of the soap and he will film his final scenes during the course of the next few weeks.

Details concerning his departure, in terms of how and when he will disappear from our screens, are being kept under wraps.
A spokesperson told Digital Spy: “We can confirm that Ricky will be leaving EastEnders. We wish him all the best for the future.”
Another insider said: “Ricky is such a nice person. He’s very popular on set, everyone loves him and the cast are going to really miss him. It’s just the end of Fatboy’s story for now.”
