Eastenders viewers were gripped to TV screens this evening as Phil Mitchell finally discovered that his wife Sharon has been hiding a huge secret.
Viewers know that Sharon stole the cash from Aidan Maguire’s heist scam but Phil was none the wiser.
As those watching tonight’s show will know, Phil was originally suspicious of Mel Owen and thought she was the person behind the theft.
It was only when he prepared to share his suspicions with Sharon that she admitted it was her who took the money.
At this point, Sharon feared her husband was on her trail and thought it better to confess.

However, he had no clue at all that it was his wife who was guilty and of course, this revelation came as a major shock.
