Pharrell Williams will be performing his hit “Happy” at this year’s Oscars.
The song, which is nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song, has been taken from the soundtrack for Despicable Me 2.
Pharrell’s song is up against The Moon Song (Her), Let it Go (Frozen) and U2’s Ordinary Love (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom).
The singer recently won the Producer of the Year prize at the Grammy Awards, as well as for his contribution to the smash Daft Punk hit “Get Lucky”.
