Taking a stand.
It’s a sad fact that life in 2016 includes a considerable number of internet trolls who relish calling people out from behind their keyboards.
The above description sounds extremely cowardly but it’s the most accurate way of explaining the abuse Emmerdale’s Danny Miller has experienced in recent days.
According to Digital Spy, Danny who is nominated for Best Actor in the TV Choice Awards, has been harassed by a Twitter user who sent him nasty and derogatory messages.
The identity of the Twitter account has been blocked out in the screen grab below but some of the messages included criticisms regarding Danny’s appearance and acting skills.

Danny, whom viewers will recognise as Aaron Dingle, didn’t take the comments lying down and for that, people are giving him major kudos.
He called the Twitter account out for cyberbullying and later blocked the account, tagging Twitter to say that he felt “harassed and alarmed” by the messages.
People were suitably impressed and tweeted Danny to tell him he was great.
@DannyBMiller proud of you for being the better person. There's only so much you can take! Just always keep that fan love/support in mind ?❣
