Looks like we’re in for three more seasons of the insanely popular Orange Is The New Black and we couldn’t be happier about the news.
Netflix announced the news in a press release along with the release date for Season four of the series which is Friday June 17th. In even better news, creator and showrunner Jenji Kohan has committed to continue in her role on the show.

Cindy Holland, VP of Original Content said:
“Jenji and her team have produced a phenomenal and impactful series that is both funny and dramatic, outrageous and heartfelt. Audiences around the world have come to love the ladies and men of Orange is the New Black, and we are eager to see where three more seasons will take them.”
Kohan seems delighted with the news, and so are we:
“And kudos and gratitude to the stellar cast and crew and writers and producers and editors and musicians and mixers and shleppers… with whom I have the pride and honor of crafting this show. Three more years! Three more years!”
We cannot wait for Season four now, especially after being left with such a massive cliffhanger last year. Buzzing.
