It has been one of the longest running rivalries in TV hsitory and now, according to reports, Sideshow Bob will finally get the better of Bart Simpson in an explosive episode.
According to reports, Bart will be killed off by his arch rival after Bob finally comes up with a devious plan to get his nemesis – and for the first time ever, the plan will actually be carried out.
The news was revealed by executive producer Al Jean at the ATX Festival panel in Austin Texas.
“Bob will finally somehow actually execute Bart,” he stated.
“And then won’t know what to do with himself after his life’s mission has been accomplished.”
The only tiny bit of good news that we can see from this is that the episode will reportedly be part of the annual Halloween special – so Bart will be alive in normal Springfield life.
We’ve no doubt it’s going to be pretty amazing though!
