Nicole Scherzinger is not planning to return for this year’s series of The X Factor according to reports this morning.
The former Pussycat Doll apparently wants to focus on her new album and has given the decision a great deal of thought.
A source close to the singer told The Mirror: “It breaks her heart, but Nicole is sad not to be able to go back to the show this year. She has agonised over the decision for months.”
The news comes only a matter of days after Simon Cowell revealed that he would be coming back to the show and that Cheryl Cole is also in talks to return to the judging panel.
While that would be nice to see, it’s going to take some time to get over this Nicole news.
