Earlier this year, the news that One Direction were taking a break broke fans hearts all over the world.
Though most of the band members have been having successful solo careers, true fans will always wonder about whether they will get back together.
Our favourite member of the band (not just because he’s Irish) has made some comments which have given us lots of hope about a reunion.
When asked about the chances of 1D getting back together Niall said: “We will back. We would be silly not to… ridiculous.”
That’s a pretty definite statement, so it sounds very likely to us.
“At the moment we are all doing our own thing. Harry wanted to do his movie and everyone is just chilling.” He told the Sunday People.
“I don’t think anyone needs to worry about us we are fine.”
Niall has been working on his solo career with the release of his first single This Town in September and his album is due to be released soon.
But perhaps the boys will all be back together before we know it and all will be well with the pop world again… Although there has been no mention of Zayn coming back to the band, something tells us he’ll stick with his solo career.
