It seems Ken Barlow is going to find himself in the middle of “a kind of love triangle” on Coronation Street.
According to The Mirror, Bill Roache’s character starts seeing new character Nessa (sister of Cathy Matthews, played by Melanie Hill) but also attracts the attention of Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls).

While the storyline has not been confirmed by show bosses, a source apparently told the newspaper: “There is a chance Audrey could finally be lucky in love after years without a partner.”
They added: “After the death of Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride), Ken starts to spend more and more time with Audrey and she admits to Rita she wants to be with him all the time.”

Ken and Audrey are two of the soap’s stalwarts. He joined the cast when the show first began, in 1960, while she has been a small screen favourite for 30 years.
