Netflix has just released a trailer for an upcoming series and it looks very good.
13 Reasons Why, a show based on the best-selling books by Jay Asher, will launch on Netflix on Friday, March 31st 2017.
Some episodes have been directed by Academy Award winner Tom McCarthy (Spotlight) and the executive producer is Selena Gomez. I know, Selena Gomez surprised us too.
The synopsis is:
“Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch.
Inside he discovers cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker—his classmate and crush—who tragically committed suicide two weeks earlier.
On tape, Hannah explains that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Will Clay be one of them?”
