Michael Fassbender Exits Western “Jane Got A Gun”

The Irish star has been forced to leave the production which also starred Natalie Portman

We know Michael Fassbender is hot property at the moment, but exiting a Western which also starred Natalie Portman and Joel Edgerton might be too much for us to handle. Fassbender has been forced to exit the production due to scheduling difficulties.

The film centres on Portman’s character Jane, the character played by Portman who is forced to reach out to her ex-lover to help her defend her farm when her husband returns home on the run from a dangerous gang. Initially, Fassbender was to play the role of the ex-lover but since the production has constantly been pushed back, the actor has been forced to exit in order to pursue his role in the X-Men film, Days of Future Past.

No real reason for this photo, it’s just pretty.

Edgerton has now moved into the role of the ex-lover, while Jude Law has now been cast as the leader of the gang. The film is directed by Lynne Ramsay who previously was at the helm of We Need To Talk About Kevin.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is currently filming in Montreal while Jane Got a Gun will begin filming in April.
