Love Island’s Jamie Jewitt has caused a bit of a kerfuffle with one of his recent Instagram snaps.
Since Jamie and Camilla left the villa, they have been busy meeting each other’s family and friends and have posted numerous couple selfies.
However, one image, in particular, has provoked a big reaction as it was originally removed and people, including Jamie himself, have questioned why.
In the Instagram post below, Jamie explains that he first posted the photo a couple of nights ago and when he woke up it had been removed because it didn’t co-operate with “Instagram’s community”.
The 27-year-old model and actor was clearly confused by the situation and decided to upload the image again, accompanied by the below caption.
He wrote:
“Hey guys, I woke up this morning and this photo had been deleted by instagram for not suiting the community?!? Can you guys see anything wrong with it? I’m baffled, so here it is again…”.
However, if you look at Jamie’s account, you can see that the original post is in fact on his page with the words “Travelling with this little tinker #bringonthehaggis”.
Jamie’s followers have been quick to point out that the word ‘tinker’ can be used as a derogatory term and this may be why the post was removed.
That makes complete sense but it’s difficult to understand how the post is still on his page if Jamie said it had been removed.
Unsurprisingly, the photos have caused confusion among followers who have pointed out that the post wasn’t deleted and others saying that it was first deleted and then retrieved.
