We love you, Jack!
After eight weeks of living without a shirt, Jack Fincham is now revealing that he suffered with his body confidence while on Love Island.
Yes, this year’s winner has spoken out about living in a house of men proudly displaying their six-packs every day and says that he did struggle with it.
“Before I went in, I’ve seen the show so many times before and I just thought I know I’m going to walk around this corner and there’s just going to be abs and biceps everywhere,” he said on Good Morning Britain.
“Just before I went in I was a bit like, ‘I can’t do it, I can’t do it’. Then I thought do you know what, this is a big opportunity, just go for it and use your personality, so I just went in, I went in.
“But I was so body conscious going in there at the start, and then as it went on I was being more free with my body.”
Jack went on to talk about some of the challenges that required him to wear costumes and said he felt uncomfortable.
“I went, ‘Ah, what am I doing? What have I got these on for?’”
However, Jack said he soon overcame his body consciousness and says that others shouldn’t feel afraid of applying for that reason.
“I think everyone’s beautiful in their own way. Everyone’s got something about them that is attractive to somebody else, I think.”
We couldn’t agree more, Jack.
