Like a lot of us, Mr Cruickshank is firmly #TeamKaz.
Last night’s Love Island saw some very special guests arrive to wish the finalists the best of luck.
The islanders were super emotional to see their parents, siblings and friends fly into the villa, and while they weren’t able to embrace due to social distancing, the reunion was still very special.
Fans were particularly delighted by Tyler Cruickshank’s father Andrew, who stole the show with his charisma.
Entering the villa with his wife Janet, Andrew brought heaps of energy to the island.

Over on the swing, Mr Cruickshank made it clear that he is firmly Team Kaz. Viewers were also delighted to see him call his son out for his behaviour at Casa Amor.
“It’s been a hard watch sometimes,” he said. “Sometimes I’m shouting at the telly thinking ‘Tyler!'”
He added: “For me, I don’t want to swear or anything, but I think you messed up mate. I was screaming at the telly, ‘What have you done?’
“No one who’s coming into Casa had anything on this girl. So I thought, ‘What are you doing?'”
He added that he was pleased he came back to Kaz.
“She humbled you,” he said.

Over on Twitter, fans expressed their love for Andrew.
“TYLERS DAD SPEAKING FACTS,” one fan wrote. “kaz did humble him!”
Another wrote: “Give Tyler’s dad the 50k already.”
Others were tempted by Andrew’s promise of a barbeque.
“I want to go to Tyler’s dad’s BBQ,” one wrote. “Look like it will be lit.”
Love Island’s own Iain Stirling was among Andrew’s new fans.

He tweeted: “When I grow up I wanna be Tyler’s Dad.”
He later added: “Right my new opening act on tour is Tyler’s Dad. He comes out, tells everyone what’s good for them then at the interval it’s BBQ time!”
