Kirsty Gallacher And Iwan Thomas Complete The Strictly Line-Up

This is shaping up to be an amazing season.

The final two names of this year’s glittering Strictly Come Dancing line-up have been unveiled today. 

Anticipation is at fever pitch as the BBC talent show has been leaking its celebrity contestants in drips and drabs.

Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly will front the talent show. 

Two sporty stars complete the list today as sprinter Iwan Thomas and and Sky Sports News presenter Kirsty Gallacher are set to take to the floor.

Sky Sports News presenter Kirsty joins the line-up. 

Speaking on BBC’s The One Show, Kirsty said: “Sport and fitness have always been a big part of my life but dancing is an entirely new challenge for me. I can’t wait to get started.”

Her competitor Iwan added: “I used to be quick at running around the track and I’m just hoping my dance partner doesn’t leave me behind.”

Sprinter Iwan Thomas will take to the floor.

The pair will join Jamelia, Peter Andre and Jay McGuiness; actors Kellie Bright, Georgia May Foote and Helen George; broadcasters Katie Derham, Anita Rani and Jeremy Vine; weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, boxer Anthony Ogogo, Daniel O’Donnell and chef Ainsley Harriott.

The talent show, hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman returns to BBC One on September 5th.
