J.K. Rowling interacts with Harry Potter fans on Twitter regularly and today she reminded Hogwarts obsessives of something pretty special.
The author took to Twitter to remind everyone that today would have been the first day James Potter, Harry’s son, attended the wizarding mecca that is Hogwarts.
I’m in Edinburgh, so could somebody at King’s Cross wish James S Potter good luck for me? He’s starting at Hogwarts today. #BackToHogwarts

As if that wasn’t enough excitement for Harry Potter fans, the legend that is J.K. Rowling went on to say that James also made it into Gryffindor.
Have just heard that James S Potter has been Sorted (to nobody’s surprise) into Gryffindor. Teddy Lupin (Head Boy, Hufflepuff) disappointed. — J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) September 1, 2015
Now if only she would announce that James deserves his very own series…we can but hope!
My poor heart can’t handle this trend…. I need help #BackToHogwarts
