We almost can’t breathe with excitement.
In some of the best news to boost your weekend, the Gilmore Girls reunion is officially confirmed with Netflix tweeting the news yesterday.
The project is called Gilmore Girls: Seasons, and will feature four 90 minute instalments catching up with our favourites Lorelai and Rory over Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

Rather than continuing where they left off, the show will fast forward to eight years later with Amy Sherman-Palladino, the original genius creator behind the Gilmore Girls, set to write and direct the entire reunion project.
Set to start filming February 2nd, here’s the question we’ve all been waiting for… whos’ set to reprise their roles in Stars Hollow?
Lauren Graham (Lorelai), Alexis Bledel (Rory), Scott Patterson (Luke) and Kelly Bishop (Emily), Keiko Agena (Lane) and Sean Gunn (Kirk) are signed up for the four-part project… but we’ve yet to see favourite Melissa McCarthy or any of Rory’s love matches make the cut.
