Who you gonna call?
This year marks the 30th anniversary of classic Hollywood blockbuster Ghostbusters.
Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson came into our lives, as the ghoul fighting team back in 1984, returning for the sequel in 89′ and despite rumours, sadly never darkened the cinema doors again.
News this evening reveals that the Oscar nominated film is getting a reboot and who they gonna call? Ladies, that’s who.
The Heat director Paul Feig and writer Katie Dippold will team up once more for the remake and the duo plan to cast “hilarious” female leads.
Feig announced the news moments ago on Twitter:
It’s official. I’m making a new Ghostbusters & writing it with @katiedippold & yes, it will star hilarious women. That’s who I’m gonna call.

We must admit, we’re sceptical about taking one of the most loved movies of our time and giving it a change up, but we look forward to hearing this epic theme tune back on the airwaves.
