Farewell summer of 2015, we hardly knew ye.
On Friday night, The Late Late Show returns to RTÉ for its 54th series.
To kick off the new season, Ryan will chat with Max Mosley, the former Formula One president, who took on the News of the World and won after they ran an expose on his private life.
Also on the show will be Helen O’Driscoll, the mother of two boys killed by their brother Jonathan in Charleville, Co. Cork exactly a year ago tomorrow. Jonathan then took his own life. Helen will discuss her love for her three sons, forgiveness and the importance of openness about mental health.
The newly-crowned Rose of Tralee Elysha Brennan will also appear on the couch.

Returning for the new series Ryan said: “I can’t wait to get back into the hot seat. It’s been a long (damp) summer, but now that the kids are back in school, it’s Late Late Show time again. We’ll have some wonderful guests, great conversation and the odd mad surprise between now and next May so tune in.”
The show today released a lip synch video featuring the top moments and guests from the last series, which enjoyed an average audience of 600,000.
