One Coronation Street couple are in for a dramatic few weeks as their romance is uncovered.
Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) have been sneaking around for weeks but her father Kal (Jimi Mistry) is going to find out about their relationship very soon.
This week they continue to meet up in secret but when they decide to have dinner together at No.6 the following week, they get caught and let’s just say Kal isn’t pleased. In fact, he punches Gary.

A show insider told the Daily Star: “Alya thought she could get away with seeing Gary behind her dad’s back but sadly, it’s all going to end in tears.
“Kal doesn’t understand why she couldn’t tell him what she was doing and, of course, he thought more of Gary too.”

The source added that the couple will have a lot of making up to do: “It really is going to take some doing for Alya and Gary to talk their way out of this one.”
And that’s not the only thing Kal is going to have to deal with as his other half Leanne (Jane Danson) has known about the relationship for some time.
